I make all my editing marks and suggestions using the 'track changes' in Microsoft Word.

Q: What do you include in your critiques?

Critiques are provided for you in the form of a report. I will cover plot, setting, voice, character, dialogue, and pacing.

Q: When should I think about getting my manuscript critiqued?

It is often beneficial to get a critique on your first draft. This gives you a chance to identify problems or weak points before you begin your rewrite.

Q: What do I get when you transcribe something for me?

When I finish your transcription, you will get your original audio or papers back, along with a text file in whatever format you need (.doc, .docx, .xml, .indd). You may also request that I send you a printed copy of the transcription.

Q: What kinds of audio can you work with?

I can work with cassette tapes, CDs, and most types of audio files.
